By installing the CollegeNearby app or using www.collegenearby.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using the platform.

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you should use the platform with a parent or guardian involved in any admission, loan or accommodation decision.

You agree to provide accurate information about your marks, qualifications and contact details. Inaccurate information produces poor matches and may cause an institute or employer to reject your application.

Accounts are created using your WhatsApp mobile number and a one-time password. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to that number secure.

One person may hold one student account. Accounts created for scraping, resale or spamming will be removed.

All student features are free. We do not charge students for search, AI tools, applications, counselling or any premium tier. If anyone asks you to pay CollegeNearby for student access, it is not us — please report it.

Colleges, employers, consultancies and accommodation owners supply their own listing information. We verify registration details and remove listings that attract repeated complaints, but we do not control admissions decisions, hiring decisions, tenancy terms or loan approvals.

Any contract you enter into with an institute, employer, lender or property owner is between you and them. Read their terms before paying any fee or signing any document.

Our AI tools produce drafts and suggestions — resumes, roadmaps, SOPs, LORs, interview feedback and skill recommendations. These are starting points, not guarantees.

You are responsible for reviewing AI output for accuracy and for ensuring that anything you submit to a university or employer truthfully represents you.

Do not misuse the platform: no scraping, reverse engineering, automated bulk requests, uploading malware, impersonating another person, or posting unlawful, misleading or abusive content.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

Partners must hold valid registrations and provide accurate course, job, rent and fee information. Leads received through CollegeNearby may be used only to respond to the student's enquiry and must not be resold or used for unrelated marketing.

The CollegeNearby name, logo, app, website, content and software are our property or licensed to us. You may use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

The platform is provided on an as-is basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed admissions, rejected applications, loan refusals or accommodation disputes arising from third-party conduct.

We may update these terms as the product changes; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
